Most of Bochnia’s inhabitants know about this, but it is not a well-known fact among Polish people, not even among those who are fans of Polish popular music.
The music video for “Takie tango” by Budka Suflera, a song that has been called one of the biggest hits in history, was recorded in the salt mine in Bochnia. It was shot in 1997. The originator and co-producer of Budka Suflera’s music video in this place was Piotr Zieliński, originally from Bochnia (where most of the band members come from) but now living in Lublin.
