Here in July 1942 the Nazis shot dozens of people, including the family of Majer Ackermann, a Bochnia cabman. On 15 December 1942 an underground bunker was discovered on the family property and the Jews who were hiding in it were shot. The bunker itself was destroyed with grenades.
