The signing of a partnership agreement between Bochnia and Bad Salzdetfurth took place in Poland on April 21st 2001. This agreement was ratified in Bad Salzdetfurth on October 20th 2001.
Bad Salzdetfurth has 18 thousands citizens and is situated between Hildesheim and Goslar in Lower Saxony. Cooperation between the cities is mainly focused on young people’s exchange, organisation of cultural events (exhibitions, concerts) and sport events (tournaments, competitions) plus cooperation of institutions and firms related with touristic and health activity (on the surface part of the salt and potassium mine in Bad Salzdetfurth a health resort with spa park and a solan and thermal swimming pool complex was built).
