The signing of a partnership agreement between Bochnia and Keżmarok took place in Slovakia on August 12th 1994. The agreement was ratified in Bochnia on September 29th 1994.
Keżmarok has 17 thousands citizens and is situated on Spisz underneath the slovakian part of the Tatry mountains. Cooperation between the cities is mainly focused on young people’s exchange, organisation of different cultural events (exhibitions, concerts) and sport events (tournaments, competitions) plus cooperation of institutions and firms related with touristic activity.
