A town inhabited by around 25 thousand people and settled in 1833. It is located between Chicago and Elgin in the state of Illinois. The location caused the town to become a commercial infrastructure for the big cities.
Roselle hosts a locally famous winery which sells wines in connoisseur shops throughout northern Illinois. The city is also home to a computerised library with a computer laboratory, audio-video, music and children’s departments. There are two public secondary schools, three junior high schools, six primary schools and two special schools in the town. Eight churches of various denominations function in the town including Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran and Methodist.
The town is also a perfect base for leisure and recreation. There is the “Clauss” recreation centre with a network of outdoor swimming pools, ten parks covering 192 acres and the “Dupage and Cook” forest complex.
Roselle is excellently connected: it has a rail connection with Chicago and is situated 10 miles from O’Hare International Airport. In the town, there are three exits to Elgin express road, O’Hare International Airport and an exit to the interstate road for heavy duty vehicles.
